Extremely discreet AXIS FA1125 Sensor Unit has a pinhole lens for extremely discreet surveillance. You can install it indoors—in a wall, doorway, ceiling, metal panel, or any tight places such as in a machine. It virtually disappears from view, with only a small pin hole visible externally. Installed at eye level at entrances or exits of retail stores or banks, it’s ideal for capturing perfect face shots—even when a person is wearing a hat or hood. It’s also perfect for highly discreet installation in an ATM (automated teller machine) or vending machine. For use with the separately sold AXIS FA54 Main Unit, AXIS FA1125 provides a 1080p resolution and a 91º horizontal field of view. Excellent details AXIS FA1125 supports Forensic WDR (wide dynamic range) at all times, enabling details to be visible even in high-contrast lighting conditions, such as in a backlight scenario where you have a person standing in front of a very bright background. The sensor unit, together with the main unit, prioritizes the darker areas of such a scene, enabling colors and details to be clearly visible. The WDR technology in AXIS FA Series is also optimized for motion, so there is no motion artifact when a fast-moving object passes by. In low light scenes, AXIS FA1125 delivers excellent color video with low noise. Flexible modular concept AXIS FA1125 is part of the AXIS FA Series, which is based on a divided network camera concept, where the camera is split into a sensor unit (made up of a lens and image sensor) and a main unit (the body of a camera), and are connected together by a cable. The flexible design allows the small sensor unit to be installed in tight places or wherever it is needed, and the main unit to be placed where there is space. AXIS FA1125 comes with an 8-m (26 ft) detachable cable for connection to the AXIS FA Main Unit. An optional 15-m (49 ft) long cable is also available. AXIS FA1125 also comes with a locking nut for easy installation on a glass, plastic or metal panel, and an angled pinhole mount for mounting behind a wall.
