The surveillance camcorder TP-Link VIGI C340 is a bullet-type IP security camera for outdoor use that provides professional 24/7 monitoring with 4 MP resolution and full‑color night vision, combining a high‑resolution CMOS sensor with floodlight and IR LEDs for sharp, detailed images even in complete darkness. Its metal and plastic housing with IP66 rating resists rain, dust and demanding environments, ideal for façades, parking areas, entrances and perimeter zones. It includes artificial intelligence for people and vehicle classification and advanced detection of area intrusion, line crossing, camera tampering or object left/removed, allowing precise alarm rules and notifications only for relevant events. It offers two‑way audio via its built‑in microphone and integrated speakers, letting you listen to the surroundings and talk remotely to people near the camera, useful in commercial and industrial sites. For connectivity, it features RJ45 LAN Ethernet with PoE for simultaneous data and power over a single cable, simplifying installation and avoiding extra adapters, plus WiFi support depending on the model. It supports local storage on MicroSD card up to 256 GB for direct recording and integrates with NVRs and network solutions thanks to its HDMI output and H.265+ video compression, which significantly reduces bandwidth and storage needs without sacrificing image quality.
